I'll confess I haven't read the carpalx article yet, but in skimming it I see lots of very useful-looking stuff.<br /><br />As for brackets, I do use them with command-line interface network management stuff and they did present a challenge at first. I stuck little dots to the keys and that helped a lot. I don't know that the Dvorak location of these is less ideal, either ...
